It is said to have been approximately the same size as the Statue of Liberty located in New York. Although it rested on a higher footing. The statue is inspired by a painting by Sandro Botticelli, called "The Birth of Venus", dated from 1486. It depicts goddess Aphrodite, having emerged from the sea as an adult woman, arriving at the sea-shore.

Weight lifting is one of the events in the modern Olympic Games. In ancient Olympia, it was an athletic event, that was used as an exercise for the athletes of the Pentathlon or the Pankration. We created a bronze relief plaque, depicting the event of weight lifting.
