Tips

Silver:

As time passes and depending on the usage, silver objects and especially jewelry can be blackened (oxidized). You can easily clean and polish them, by using any cleaning product for silverware. The silver decorative artwork can be kept shiny for a longer time inside a display showcase, as they don't come in direct contact with our skin, smoke, air pollution or the sun.

Copper:

Copper has natural antioxidant and antiseptic properties. All our copper objects are coated with a special varnish, during the last part of their production, in order to withstand time. They can be cleaned with a soft clean cotton cloth. Any type of cleaner or copper polish may spoil the varnish.

Bronze (brass):

Bronze artwork is manly casted and polished without any varnish at the end of their processing. They can be cleaned and polished with all special bronze (brass) cleanser that you can find in the market.

Silver-plated:

Silver-plated objects, are initially made of copper or bronze. Silver plating is made with silver solution (999° degrees) and at the last stage of production, they are coated with a special varnish, in order to withstand time and to stabilize the plating.

They can be cleaned with a soft clean cotton cloth. Any type of cleanser or brass may spoil the varnish.

Gold-plated:

Gold-plated jewelry / objects, are initially made of copper or bronze. Gold-plating is made with gold solution 24K (carats). They can be cleaned with a soft clean cotton cloth. Any type of cleanser or brass polish is not recommended.

Gold-plated Jewelry:

All our jewellery are nickel free 24k gold-plated. More specifically for the earrings, the hook is also handmade in solid silver and then gold-plated 24k nickel free, even if the rest of the jewel is in copper or brass. In order to keep your jewelry new and shiny, we recommend that you avoid contact with perfumes, cleansers and detergents.
