The Sanctuary of Delphi was a plateau dedicated to Apollo.

This holy place was considered to be "the centre of the world" and rightly so, since it was situated at the centre of the then-known universe. The famous political, religious, financial and ethical centre that was Delphi, a place of international radiance, charged with magnetic fields and an imposing tension, is a place full of mythical memories.

This historical album presents all of Delphi’s monuments, with special reference to the Ancient Gymnasium (this is the first time that this monument is presented in a publication in Greek bibliography), as well as the Temple of Apollo, the Sanctuary of Athena, the Theatre, the Tholos (this mysterious round temple), the treasures and the Museum with its unique exhibits.

The album has a notable presentation through maquettes , representing the site of Delphi in ancient times, as well as the historical reference to the presence of western civilizations in Delphi , the unique topography of the territory and the glamor of the Oracle.

The book is written by Helena Partida Dr. in archeology.
