Relief Representations

Replica of a tondo on an attic white-ground kylix (vase) from Delphi, depicting a representation of Apollo holding his lyre in his left hand, attributed to Pistoxenos Painter. Apollo, as the god of music and the arts was often depicted playing his lyre. The relief representation is crafted by hand and is made of silver-plated brass.

We created a bronze relief plaque with a sport of the Ancient Olympic Games, the Long Jump, which we then placed on a greek black marble base. The long jump was part of the ancient Pentathlon.

We created a relief plaque, depicting the Olympic feature of wrestling. Wrestling was one of the main events of the ancient Olympic Games, held in ancient Olympia.

Weight lifting is one of the events in the modern Olympic Games. In ancient Olympia, it was an athletic event, that was used as an exercise for the athletes of the Pentathlon or the Pankration. We created a bronze relief plaque, depicting the event of weight lifting.

In Ancient Olympia, the javelin throw was part of the pentathlon event in the ancient Olympic Games. We created a bronze relief plaque with the sport, which we then placed on a greek black marble base.

Keritizin was an ancient greek sport. It was probably the precursor of hockey. Inspired by an ancient relief on a marble of the Themistoclean wall, we creted a unique bronze plaque with depiction of the sport.

Dog and cat fighting. An ancient sport, created for the entertainment of the Athenians in their everyday life. It is inspired by an ancient relief representation.

The owl, also known as glaux in Ancient Greece was the symbol of wisdom and knowledge and the sacred bird of Goddess Athena. The sacred bird was also depicted on the reverse side of the tetradrachm coin of Athens.

Minoan Bull relief on marble. Our inspiration came from an earring in the form of a bull's head (bucranium) from Knossos with dense gratulation to the conic snout of the head. The bull, was one of the most common sacred symbols, that was used in Minoan jewelry art.  14th - 13th century B.C., Knossos, Crete.

The Goddess with snakes is an excellent example of the Minoan miniature art. The design of the relief plaque is inspired by the statue of the goddess of snakes, found in the palace of Knossos in Crete.

The frying-pan vessel, is a truly fine example of the art of pottery, created by the ancient cycladic islanders. We designed a relief representation, inspired by its frying-pan shape, which can be easily used in every modern office.

This relief is a epresentation of the Gorgoneion, inspired by the two gold gorgoneia, found in the antechamber of the tomb of Philip II, at Vergina.

Linear A is one of two currently undeciphered writing systems used in ancient Greece. Cretan hieroglyphic is the other. Linear A was the primary script used in palace and religious writings of the Minoan civilization. It is the origin of the Linear B script, which was later used by the Mycenaean civilization. We have created an exclusive decorative item, the Dolpnins, handmade of gold-plated 24K copper, mounted on an acrylic base. A perfect gift for the office or the home. The Dolphins, are a detail from the famous 6 metre fresco of a procession or escort of ships at the Akrotiri on Santorini island. Eight large ships and three smaller vessels, all powered by oarsmen, travel from one port to another with centre stage taken by the flagship of the fleet.

We created a relief plaque of the head of Alexander the Great, that is inspired by a gold medal of Tarsus. The plaque is mounted on a marble base.

The Argonautic expedition was named after Jason's ship, the Argo, which in turn was named after its builder, Argo. The crew was named after the ship and they were called the Argonauts. The relief is made of copper gilded in a 24 carat gold solution and placed on an acrylic base.
