Relief Representations

Replica of a tondo on an attic white-ground kylix (vase) from Delphi, depicting a representation of Apollo holding his lyre in his left hand, attributed to Pistoxenos Painter. Apollo, as the god of music and the arts was often depicted playing his lyre. The relief representation is crafted by hand and is made of silver-plated brass.

We created a bronze relief plaque with a sport of the Ancient Olympic Games, the Long Jump, which we then placed on a greek black marble base. The long jump was part of the ancient Pentathlon.

We created a relief plaque, depicting the Olympic feature of wrestling. Wrestling was one of the main events of the ancient Olympic Games, held in ancient Olympia.

Weight lifting is one of the events in the modern Olympic Games. In ancient Olympia, it was an athletic event, that was used as an exercise for the athletes of the Pentathlon or the Pankration. We created a bronze relief plaque, depicting the event of weight lifting.

In Ancient Olympia, the javelin throw was part of the pentathlon event in the ancient Olympic Games. We created a bronze relief plaque with the sport, which we then placed on a greek black marble base.

Keritizin was an ancient greek sport. It was probably the precursor of hockey. Inspired by an ancient relief on a marble of the Themistoclean wall, we creted a unique bronze plaque with depiction of the sport.

Dog and cat fighting. An ancient sport, created for the entertainment of the Athenians in their everyday life. It is inspired by an ancient relief representation.

The owl, also known as glaux in Ancient Greece was the symbol of wisdom and knowledge and the sacred bird of Goddess Athena. The sacred bird was also depicted on the reverse side of the tetradrachm coin of Athens.

Minoan Bull relief on marble. Our inspiration came from an earring in the form of a bull's head (bucranium) from Knossos with dense gratulation to the conic snout of the head. The bull, was one of the most common sacred symbols, that was used in Minoan jewelry art.  14th - 13th century B.C., Knossos, Crete.

Linear A is one of two currently undeciphered writing systems used in ancient Greece. Cretan hieroglyphic is the other. Linear A was the primary script used in palace and religious writings of the Minoan civilization. It is the origin of the Linear B script, which was later used by the Mycenaean civilization. The Goddess with snakes is an excellent example of the Minoan miniature art. The design of the relief plaque is inspired by the statue of the goddess of snakes, found in the palace of Knossos in Crete.

The frying-pan vessel, is a truly fine example of the art of pottery, created by the ancient cycladic islanders. We designed a relief representation, inspired by its frying-pan shape, which can be easily used in every modern office.

The Mask of Agamemnon, relief representation. Agamemnon in Greek mythology, was the son of King Atreus and Queen Aerope of Mycenae. This unique find is the inspiration of this hand casted paper weight.

This relief is a epresentation of the Gorgoneion, inspired by the two gold gorgoneia, found in the antechamber of the tomb of Philip II, at Vergina.
