Born in the City of Light, Paris, in the early 1950s, Marios Angelos Voutsinas was shaped and influenced by the political and social unrest that followed in the next two decades. His artistic work focuses on man and exudes the simplest but also strong emotions that permeate us every day: loneliness, joy, sadness, indifference, enthusiasm. Microscopy and jewelry are the two areas in which he has gathered all his talent.Pieces uniquely made and handmade on wax, the material that gives the plasticity of a fantastic and unpredictable movement. As soon as he finds the position he was looking for, he carries it on metal: blond red copper, natural bronze, precious gold and noble silver. From a very early age, his talent was recognized abroad as well as in Greece. Great collectors and people of art, such as the family of the painter Picasso and Dimitris Pieridis, have in his private collection his works. Since 1978 he has participated in many personal and group exhibitions with new ideas and creations. "Genesis" is his first work for an exclusive edition of limited tracks, for the friends and collectors of Collections Hellenique in Athens.
